At Functional Blueprint™, we provide functional lab testing services that involve third-party laboratory processing, clinical review, and personalized result interpretation. Because these products include lab testing, our refund policy is different from a standard retail product.

Lab Test Purchases

Functional Blueprint™ products include lab testing and clinical review services. Once a lab test has been ordered, shipped, activated, collected, submitted, or processed, it may no longer be eligible for a refund.

Refunds Before Test Submission

A refund may be considered only if the test has not yet been submitted, activated, processed, or sent to the lab.

Refund requests must be made in writing within 7 days of purchase.

If your test kit or lab order has not yet been processed, we may be able to issue a refund, minus any non-refundable administrative, payment processing, shipping, or lab preparation fees.

No Refunds After Lab Submission

Due to the nature of laboratory testing, no refunds will be issued once your sample has been collected, submitted, shipped to the lab, received by the lab, or testing has begun.

This applies even if:

You change your mind after submitting the test
You no longer wish to complete the program
You do not agree with or expected different results
You fail to follow collection instructions
You delay submitting your sample
You do not schedule or attend a results review
You choose not to follow the recommendations provided

Once a lab test is submitted, laboratory costs and professional review services are already underway and cannot be reversed.

Test Kits, Lab Orders, and Processing Fees

If a test kit, requisition, or lab order has already been created or shipped, certain fees may be non-refundable. These may include:

Lab order fees
Test kit fees
Shipping fees
Payment processing fees
Administrative fees
Third-party laboratory charges
Clinical review preparation fees

Any eligible refund will be reduced by these costs.

Expired, Delayed, or Unused Tests

It is the customer’s responsibility to complete testing within the instructions and timeline provided.

Refunds are not guaranteed for unused, delayed, incomplete, or expired tests. If you have not completed your test within the required timeframe, please contact us to see whether the lab can still accept the sample or whether a new kit or order is required.

Additional fees may apply for replacement kits, expired orders, or retesting.

Incorrect or Incomplete Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact, shipping, billing, and health information at the time of purchase and intake.

Functional Blueprint™ is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect information, incomplete forms, missed emails, shipping errors due to incorrect addresses, or failure to follow lab instructions.

Damaged or Missing Test Kits

If your test kit arrives damaged or appears to be missing required materials, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can review the issue.

We may request photos of the damaged package or materials. Replacement availability depends on the lab’s policies and the circumstances of the issue.

Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled if the lab order, test kit, or service process has not yet begun.

Once your lab order has been processed, your kit has shipped, your sample has been submitted, or your clinical review has begun, the order cannot be canceled or refunded.

Results Review and Clinical Interpretation

Functional Blueprint™ testing includes clinical review and interpretation. Refunds are not available once the clinical review process has started, even if you choose not to schedule or attend your review.

Missed appointments, late cancellations, or failure to complete required forms may be subject to rescheduling fees.

Purchasing a Functional Blueprint™ product does not guarantee a specific diagnosis, treatment plan, outcome, or health result.

Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.

Approved Refunds

If your refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method when possible. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Policy Agreement

By purchasing Gut Blueprint™, Metabolic Blueprint™, or Complete Blueprint™, you acknowledge and agree that lab testing services are time-sensitive, personalized, and involve third-party laboratory costs.

You understand that once a test has been submitted, activated, shipped to the lab, received by the lab, processed, or clinically reviewed, it is non-refundable.
